Jeremiah Reynolds Speaks to The Wrap

Jeremiah Reynolds was recently quoted in Tim Kenneally’s The Wrap article “Can Colbert Really Be Legally Stopped From Being Stephen Colbert?” In the article, Jeremiah explains that while Viacom would most likely be able to take legal action over the Comedy Central character, the late-night host’s new “identical twin cousin” persona might be a sufficient workaround.

“I think they’d have a really hard time stopping him from acting in the manner of a parody of a right-wing talk-show host,” Jeremiah said. “I think a court would find that too generalized to be protectable.”
