MGM sues LaMotta over unsanctioned ‘Raging Bull’ sequel; Jeremiah Reynolds says original contract appears to favor LaMotta

When asked by Daily Variety‘s Ted Johnson to comment on MGM’s lawsuit against Jake LaMotta over the right to produce a sequel to the studio’s classic “Raging Bull,” KWIKA partner Jeremiah Reynolds said the 1976 contract governing the original production seems to indicate that LaMotta was not willing to give up control of future derivative works.
