Business Wire: Statement on Los Angeles Court Decision Affirming Michael Jackson’s Wishes Expressed in His Will

LOS ANGELES—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Howard Weitzman, counsel for John Branca and John McClain, the named executors for Michael Jackson, today issued the following statement in response to the decision by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff:

“We believe Judge Beckloff made the correct decision.  We intend to carry out the wishes Michael Jackson set forth.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jackson family this week in remembering Michael as a beloved father, son and brother, and as the world honors his remarkable legacy as an artist.”

Cohen of Hoffman, Sabban and Watenmaker, are serving as probate counsel.  Sitrick And Company, Inc. has been retained to serve as communications counsel and will handle all media inquiries on behalf of Mr. Jackson’s estate.
