Larry Iser Speaks on Music Copyright Infringement Suits in Los Angeles Business Journal

Larry Iser was quoted in Henry Meier’s Los Angeles Business Journal article “Recent Ruling Might Have Cued Up Music Suits,” which discusses how lawsuits targeting popular musicians Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran may be the start of an unsettling trend in the music industry. In Larry’s opinion, the infamous “Blurred Lines” verdict last year has emboldened plaintiffs, paving the way for an increase in music copyright litigation.

“You have to expect post-‘Blurred Lines’ that plaintiffs’ lawyers are looking to file more of these suits,” Larry said.
